Meliá Cuba ’s employees protected against SARS-COV-22021-05-17
With the addition of the Tourism sector to the clinical study of the vaccine candidate Abdala in the province of Matanzas, the immunization process of our employees in Varadero has been set in motion.
Several vaccinations centers have been set up across the destination, to inject about 5,900 workers in the sector in the coming weeks, complying with the scientific protocols established by the Ministry of Public Health of Cuba.
Currently, Meliá Cuba has 13 hotels in Varadero, where rigorous security measures have been applied in all areas, as part of the “Stay Safe with Melia” program.
The vaccination of the staff will reinforce the protocols implemented in favor of our guests and visitors’ wellbeing, consolidating the destination as a safe place for travelers from all over the world before the start of the next summer season.
