Meliá Cuba implements new digital communication and management projects2021-09-08
Two new projects are added to Meliá Cuba´s digital activity, both aimed at offering a superior guest experience
The organizational culture of Meliá Hotels International Cuba has among its most solid assets the proactive use of new technologies and the advantages they offer, both in its daily operation and their field of strategic actions. In a society marked by the broad impact of information, maintaining a presence in channels such as online marketing and social media becomes a premise for the development of the company.
Two new projects are joining Meliá Cuba's digital activity these days, both focused on offering a superior experience to guests. The first of them incorporates to its official website a wide catalog of complementary options to accommodation, which include transfers, flights, excursions, car rental, sale of travel insurance and PCR tests. With the support of the Solways Cuba agency, services can be booked simultaneously with the hotel stay or at a later time, at your convenience. Thanks to this advance in joint sales management, every detail is planned, giving people greater control over their time and the possibility of fully indulging in the enjoyment of an unforgettable vacation. More details about this integral trip to the Alma de Cuba can be consulted through the link www.meliacuba.com/solwayscuba-services
On the other hand, the exchange with travelers will be taken to another level after the implementation of the Pre-Stay message, with automated sending, via email, 7 days before the arrival date. Designed to foster dialogue with those who choose to book through the Meliá Cuba official website, this communication puts the future guest and the hotel team in contact, to coordinate details of the accommodation and personalize it at will. Likewise, it informs about the possibility of including complementary experiences in your travel package, and reviews the main aspects of the Stay Safe with Meliá health protocol, focused on preventing the transmission of COVID-19.
Although it is possible to affirm that there is no economic sector where online activity does not play a relevant role to a greater or lesser extent nowadays, in the case of travel and tourism industry, this communication channel becomes essential to contact the client, close sales and create a long-term relationship. With such certainty, Meliá Cuba reaffirms its commitment to digital transformation and the constant search for alternatives to optimize operations management and customer experiences.
